I deeply regret the passing of Mr. Bobby Raymond Lewis. I extend condolences to his wife, Gertie, his sons Derrick and Cedric, and the rest of his family. Also, I extend condolences to his friends.

Bobby was an outstanding educator in the District of Columbia Public Schools for many years. He not only excelled as an academic instructor, but he also served as a positive role model for his students and colleagues in decorum, deportment, and many other positive attributes.

May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Gertie and family, our deepest sympathy is extended to all of you in the loss of your dear loved one. We enjoyed knowing Bobby through the retired federal employees organization and Rocky Mount chapter. He was indeed a quiet gentleman. Our prayers are with you.
