Mrs. Peele was born in New Hanover County.  She was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.

Survivors are her husband; Mr. Leo Peele of Williamston, NC; 3 sons; Sean C. Burns of Williamston, NC, Nathaniel A. Burns of Williamston, NC

and Tremayne Laughinghouse of Norfolk, VA: 3 brothers; Kenneth Laughinghouse of Williamston, NC, David Laughinghouse, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, and 

Anthony Laughinghouse of Williamston, NC and 2 sisters; Kanzetta Bond of Windsor, NC and Vanessa Godard of Williamston, NC.  She also has 4 grandchildren and

1 great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held from 3 p.m.until 6 p.m. at Manson Mortuary on Saturday, September 23 and from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Back Swamp Church of Christ

(DOC) on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Williamston, NC.

The funeral will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with

Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Back Swamp Church Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
