Ms. Ella Mae (McIntyre) Ormond

Ms. Ella Mae Ormond, age 103, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 in

Williamston NC. Ms. Ormond was a legendary citizen of Williamston as she and her late husband Mr. Robert “Bobby” Ormond owned a local grocery store in Williamston NC.

Her survivors include two daughters, Sarah Lee Ormond Faison of Washington, DC and Mary Lee Ormond Franks of Williamston, NC. Her public viewing will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 

7:00 p.m. at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC.

There will be another viewing one hour prior to her funeral service at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church 119 Rhodes Street, Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC with Dr. Ingrid Hackett officiating. 

Her interment will immediately follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
