Jimmie Ruth (Morgan) Rodgers

Mrs. Jimmie Ruth Rodgers, age 78, passed away in Vidant 

Medical Center in Greenville, NC on July 22, 2019. She was 

a child care provider for many years.  She was a member of Believers

Fellowship Conference Center in Williamston, NC.

Survivors include her husband, Deford Rodgers of the home; one son, 

Victor Rodgers of Harrisburg, PA; two daughters, Cynthia R. Mooring and 

Regina R. Parker of Williamston, NC; one step daughter, Natasha Joe of Lithonia, GA; one brother, Eddie James Morgan of Gadsden, 

Alabama and ten sisters, Jessie Rutledge of Cleveland, OH, Catherine BeBee of Gray, GA, Patricia Johnson

of Atlanta, Ga, Linda Ware of Camp Hill, Alabama, Beulah Scott of Macon, GA, Rosa Hughley of

Alexandria City, Alabama, Barbara Morgan of New Orleans, LA, Willa Swain of Buffalo, NY, Debra

Johnson of Camp Hill, Alabama and Yvonne Morgan of Naples, FL; thirteen grandchildren and

twenty great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Manson

Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 12 noon until 1:00 pm

at Martin County Auditorium.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm at  Martin County Auditorium

in Williamston, NC with Pastor Rick Carson officiating.

Interment will follow in Rodgers Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
