Williamston, NC

Mrs. Gladys Viola Gray, age 78, passed away on July 13, 2019

in Vidant Hospital in Greenville, NC. She was a member of

Goddard Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC. She

was an active missionary until her health declined.

Survivors include one son, Wilmur Gray of Williamston, NC and one daughter,

Vanessa Gray of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Samuel Smithwick

of Raleigh, NC and David Smithwick of Havana, FL; three grandchildren

and three great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm

at Manson Mortuary in Williamston and on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from

10:00 am until 11:00 am at Goddard Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 11:00 am at Goddard

Hill Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Bishop Melvin Bunch officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
