Mrs. Joan W. Davis, age 83, passed away in her home. She was a member of New
Life Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC.
Her survivors include two sons, Spencer Davis of Williamston, NC and Wallace Butch
Davis of Garner, NC; one daughter, Betty D. Clemmons of Williamston, NC; two
sisters, Mattie Scriven of Williamston, NC and Fannie Davis of Brooklyn, NY;
six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, Governor Cooper’s mandates will be followed. A face covering will
be required.
Her walk through viewing will be held on Monday, August 3, 2020 from 3:00
pm until 6:00 pm at Manson Mortuary in Williamston and on Tuesday, August 4, 2020
from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm at Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston, NC
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 2:00 pm at
Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston, NC with Pastor Anthony Grice officiating.

Her interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
