Mr. Alton Lavon Clemmons, age 71, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. Mr. Clemmons was a mechanic employed with Wal-Mart Auto Service Center. His survivors include four sisters: Nancy Coltrain Reeves of Tarboro, NC; Marie Goodloe of Rocky Mount, NC; Leta Clemmons of Troy, New York and Nicole Sessoms of New York, New York. His public viewings will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Manson Mortuary Williamston, NC. and on Saturday August 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Union Grove Baptist Church 2846 Sheppard Road Stokes, NC. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Union Grove Baptist Church 2846 Sheppard Road Stokes, NC with Dr. Rex Fleming serving as eulogist. Interment will follow at Price-Clemmons Family Cemetery 4025 Racetrack Road Robersonville, NC 27871.
