Williamston, N.C. Mrs. Antonette Black Rodgers, 34, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Martin General Hospital. Mrs. Rodgers was born in Martin County. She was a member of Barnabus Baptist Church in Williamston, NC. Survivors include her husband, Quinton Rodgers of Williamston, NC; father Alonza Black, Sr. of Robersonville, NC; daughter Quinette Rodgers of Williamston, NC; two brothers, Anton Black of Williamston, NC and Falonza Parker of Jamesville, NC. A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Barnabas Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Kenneth Matthews officiating. There will be a viewing following the service. Burial will follow in the Newsome Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
