Ms. Barbara D. James, age 72, passed away at Roanoke River Nursing

and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, February 9, 2018.

Ms. James was born in Beaufort County and was a member of Cedar

Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC.

Survivors are her three daughters, Sheila Bowen, Tina Rodgers and Johnnie

Johnson all of Williamston, NC; one brother, James Little of Williamston, NC; one

sister, Agnes Anita James of Philadelphia, PA: six children and three great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at

Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at

Cedar Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Roy Gray

officiating.

Interment will follow in the Rodgers Family Cemetery II in Williamston, NC.
