Mr. Bennett Hamrick, 81, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 in Martin General Hospital.
Mr. Hamrick was born in Cabarrus County.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Hamrick of Williamston, NC; four sons, Larry Hamrick of Delaware, David Hamrick of Charlotte, NC, Kenyon Hamrick of Cleveland, OH, and Derrick Hamrick of Williamston, NC; three daughters, Dottie and Sheila of Charlotte, NC and Tonya Hamrick; one brother, Wade Carson of Concord, NC; one sister, Betty Wilson of Mooresville, NC; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 1-2 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Ronnie Staton officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
