Major Carlton Harris, Age 66, passed away in the VA Medical Center

in Hampton, VA on Thursday, August 1, 2019.  He was a retired Major

in the United States Army.

Survivors include a daughter, Calandra M. Harris of Hampton, VA, a son, Calvin J

Harris of Hampton, VA; a sister, Lois H. Greene and a brother, Jeffrey L. Harris

both of Williamston, NC, and two grandchildren, Chayna M. Hamilton and Robert C. Hamilton

of Hampton, VA.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm

at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Thursday, August 8, 2019 from

2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Back

Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor Derrick L. Wilkins

officiating.  Interment will follow in Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC.
