Williamston, NC Ms. Carolyn R. Manning, 63, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Vidant Medical Center. Ms. Manning was born in Martin County. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Christ (DOC). Survivors include one son, William Cortez Manning of Greensboro, NC; one daughter, Lavelle Rhodes of Raleigh, NC; one brother John R. Gray of Williamston, NC; and one grandchild. A visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Jamesville Middle School Auditorium. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Jamesville Middle School Auditorium with Bishop William T. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the C.C. Keyes Cemetery
