Mr. Charles S. Plater, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in the Vintage Inn in
Williamston, NC. He was a retired History teacher with the Pitt County School System.
Survivors include a nephew, James Oliver of Portsmouth, VA and a niece, Marie Bailey of
Woodbridge, VA.
There will be a private graveside service on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 12 noon at
Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC with Pastor Darren R. Whitehurst officiating.
