Mrs. Evelyn Clay Brown, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Vidant Medical Center.
Mrs. Brown was born in Martin County. She was a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Lee Brown of Parmele, NC; one daughter, Miko Sharpe of Wake Forest, NC; three brothers, Sherry Jones of Greenville, NC, William Hooker of Raleigh, NC, and Samuel Lee of Robersonville, NC; and one sister.
The family will receive friends for a walk-through viewing on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 1-5 pm at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 10-11 am on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at South Creek High School in Robersonville, NC.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at South Creek High School in Robersonville, NC with Pastor Samuel L. Chance officiating. Burial will follow in the Council Cemetery in Bethel, NC.
