Williamston, N.C. Mr. Floyd Allen Lanier, 97, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in Williamston, N.C. Mr. Lanier was born in Martin County. He was a member of Bethlehem AME Zion Church. Survivors include four sisters, Mary Alice Lanier (Brooklyn, NY), Viola Jean Biggs (Williamston, NC), Ora Lee Lanier (Williamston, NC), and Lillian Lorraine Lanier-Brown (Brooklyn, NY); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Bethlehem AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. A.B. Wyrick, II officiating. Burial will follow in the Lanier Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
