Gladys Deloris Teel Ruffin

Williamston, N.C. Ms. Gladys Deloris Teel Ruffin, 81, passed away on Monday, Septemebr 10, 2012 at Roanoke River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Ruffin was born in Martin County. She was a member of Williams Chapel AME Zion Church. Survivors include one son, Wilbur Lee Staton, Robersonville, NC; two daughters, Yvette D. Ruffin of Raleigh, NC and Gail C. Spencer of Seattle, WA; one brother, William E. Teel of Williamston, NC; three sisters, Vernita Moore of Williamston, NC, Mary L. Ruffin of Williamston, NC, and Anna Grable of Bridgeport, Ct.; and seven grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Vaughn Coffield officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
