Robersonville, NC Mr. James Russell Crandall, 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center-Greenville. Mr. Crandall was born in Martin County. Survivors include one son, James Crandell, Jr. of Williamston, NC; one daughter, Donna Crandell of Greenville, NC; three brothers, Edward Crandall of North Hollywood, CA, William Monroe Crandall of Charlotte, NC, and Frederick Crandall of Robersonville, NC; four sisters, Mary C. Everett of Robersonville, NC, Bettie McCoy of Leesburg, VA, Daisy Russell of Robersonville, NC, and Brenda Bradley of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Manson Mortuary Chapel in Robersonville, NC. The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Greenville, NC with Pastor Rex Flemming officiating. There will be a viewing at the end of service followed by burial in the Crandall Cemetery in Greenville, NC.
