James Russell Rease

Mr. James Russell Rease, age 80, passed away in Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie,

NC on Friday, May 14, 2021.

He was a retired car salesman. He was a member of House of Fruit and Faithful Ministry in

Hobgood, NC.

His survivors include his wife, Brenda H. Rease of Hobgood, NC; son, James Earl Clemmons of Philadelphia, PA;

step-sons,  Roman Devon Frayer of Oak City, NC and Travis Lynn Frayer of Washington, DC; daughters,

Karen Rease and Elwanda Jackson of Greensboro, NC; step-daughters, Katina Frayer of Tarboro, NC

and Kimberly F. Pitt of Hobgood, NC; five brothers, Freddie Williams of Connecticut, Ray Williams,

Willie E. Williams, Larry Williams and Michael Williams all of Williamston, NC; two sisters,

Diane Mills and Peggy Williams of Williamston, NC; four grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren,

six great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

His walk through viewing will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Manson

Mortuary in Williamston, NC. A face covering and temperature check are mandatory upon entrance.

He will also have a one hour viewing from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery on Friday, May 21, 2021.

His graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC

with Rev. Jonah Walston officiating.
