John W. Williams, "Buddy", age 75, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at

ECU Health Edgecombe in Tarboro, NC.

His survivors include his wife, Betty Williams of Williamston, NC; two sons, Larry Gilliam of Ft. Walton

Beach, FL and Franklin James of Williamston, NC; four daughters, Juanita W. Wiggins of Greenville, NC,

Yolanda Soney of Winterville, NC, Tuwanda Williams and Jamica Lilley of Williamston, NC; four sisters,

Mary Williams of Williamston, NC, Linda Washington of Dale City, VA, Angela Boston of Williamston, NC and

Gwendolyn Hyman of Bethel, NC; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

His walk through viewing will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Manson Mortuary

in Williamston, NC.  A face covering is recommended upon entrance to the building.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist

Church in Williamston, NC with Pastor Rondy Wilson officiating.  His viewing will be held at the end of the service.

His interment will immediately follow the service in Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC.
