Robersonville, NC Mrs. Josephine Braswel Lawrence, 98, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at home. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Edgecombe county. She was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Robersonville, NC. Survivors include two sons, Horace Lawrence of NY and James E. Lawrence of Robersonville, NC; three daughters, Julia L. Dugger of Robersonville, NC, Frances Pate of Bainbridge, GA and Josie McNeil of Greenville, NC; one sister, Dora Williams of Greenville, NC; 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 12 Noon to 1:00 pm at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Robersonville, NC. The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Robersonville, NC. Burial will follow in Andrews Memorial Park, Williamston, NC.
