Laura (Wrisby) Brooks

March 29, 1924 — October 19, 2020

Mrs. Laura Wrisby Brooks, age 96, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 in her home.

She was a member of Smithwick Chapel Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC.

Her survivors include one son, Edward Charles Brooks of Plymouth, NC; five daughters,

Georgia Brooks Smallwood of Washington, NC, Ruth Brodgen of Baltimore, MD, Mona Brooks

of Jamesville, NC, Annie Johnson of Suffolk, VA and Evelyn Biggs of Jamesville, NC; ten

grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Her graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Corey Family Cemetery in

Jamesville, NC with Pastor Taurean Walston officiating.
