Lillie S Smith

Williamston, N.C. Mrs. Lillie S. Smith, 76, passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Martin General Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born in Bertie County. She was a member of Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC). Survivors include three daughters, Pamela D. Smith (Williamston, NC), Wendy S. Cherry (Williamston, NC), and E. Inez Smith (Williamston, NC); Two brothers, Alvin Whitehurst (Williamston, NC) and Depreist Speller (Brockton, MA); Three sisters, Colleen Jones (Philadelphia, PA), Alice Edmonds (Philadelphia, PA), and Costeen Barber (Philadelphia, PA); three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and immediately following the service. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor William B. Pearsall, officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
