Mr. Willie Carter, Jr., 65, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Durham VA Hospital in Durham, NC.
Mr. Willie Carter was born in Martin County. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Williamston, NC.
Survivors include his wife Vonzella S. Carter of Williamston, NC; one son, Jamar Bell of Durham, NC; one daughter, Alicia R. Spruill of Boston, MA; one brother, McQuinn Carter of Brooklyn, NY; and five grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Manson Mortuary Chapel in Williamston, NC.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 14, 2016 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Williamston, NC with Rev. Russell Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
