Mrs. Priscella Mae Battle Whitehurst, 76, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at home.
Mrs. Whitehurst was born in Lenoir County. She was a member of Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC).
Survivors include several cousins, Sylvanus Best, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, Richard Best of Goldsboro, NC, Lillie Best Isler of LaGrange, NC and Shirley B. Kittrell of LaGrange, NC; and a caregiver, Mrs. Mary W. Williams.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Manson Mortuary, Williamston, NC and from 12 Noon to 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Green Memorial Church of Christ (DOC) in Williamston, NC with Pastor Ricardo Hardison officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiliamston, NC.
