Robert C. Grandy

Williamston, NC Mr. Robert C. Grandy, 70, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Mr. Grandy was born in Bertie County and was a retired Fed-Ex Courier. He was a member of St. Mark Church of Christ (DOC) Church. Survivors include his wife, Doris W. Grandy of Williamston, his son, Robert C. Grandy, III of Queens, NY and a daughter, Jody Grandy of Greenville, NC and one grandson; four brothers, William Grandy, Henry Grandy, and Joseph Grandy all of Windsor, NC and Larry Grandy of Robersonville, NC; three sisters, Gloria Cherry of Windsor, NC, Mildred Bazemore of Raleigh, NC and Peggy Gallop of Avondale, AZ. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 9 at 1:00 pm at St. Mark Church of Christ (DOC). The funeral will be held on Sunday, October 9 at 2:00 pm at St. Mark Church of Christ (DOC). The burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
