Mr. Roland Short, age 76, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in

Clayton, NC. Mr. Short was a former laborer with Perdue Farms, Inc. His survivors include his wife: Nannie R. Crump Short of the home; three sons: Roland Short, Jr. of Atlantic City, NJ, Travis and Troy Short, both of Clayton, NC. ; two daughters: Rochelle S. Rhone of Clayton, NC and Bernice Cooper of Poconos, PA. ; one sister: Ethel Short of New Jersey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 2, 2026, at the Kingdom Hall in Williamston, NC  with Brother Johnny Brown, Presiding.
