Ruth Lee (Torrence) Outerbridge

Ruth T. Outerbridge, age 97, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 in Windsor, NC.

She was a retired educator for Martin County Schools and a member of Williams

Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

Her survivors include one daughter, Karen O. Roberson of Williamston, NC; two sisters,

Thalia Thornton of Ocean Port, NJ and Mildred Thornton of Jackson, NJ; two grandchildren

and two great-grandchildren.

Her walkthrough viewing will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at

Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm

at Williams Chapel AME Zion Church in Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Williams Chapel AME Zion

Church with Pastor Ingrid Hackett officiating.

Her interment will immediately follow her service at Outerbridge Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
