Vanelle J. Barnes, age 68, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Laurel, MD. She is

a former resident of Williamston, NC and graduated from Williamston High School in Williamston,

NC.

Her survivors include her husband, Robert Barnes of Laurel, MD; a daughter, Jakeila B. Rice of

Odenton, MD and three grandchildren.

Her viewing will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Manson Mortuary

Chapel in Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 am at Manson Mortuary Chapel

in Williamston, NC with Pastor Charles Dunn officiating.

Her interment will immediately follow the service in Respass Family Cemetery in Williamston, NC.
