Annie Celestine (Staton) Gainer

Annie Celestine Gainer, age 68, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

She was a retired educator with Martin County Schools and a member of Community Christian Church in Greenville, 

NC.

Her survivors include her husband, Ollie A. Gainer, Jr. of Williamston, NC, her sons, Lance A. Gainer of Greensboro, NC

and Derrick B. Gainer of Robersonville, NC; two sisters, Doris Staton West and Thelma Staton Purvis of Williamston, NC.

Her walk through viewing will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Manson Mortuary in 

Williamston, NC. A face covering is recommended upon entrance to the building. Another viewing will be held on Saturday,

April 16, 2022 from 11:00 am until 12 noon at Mount Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 12 noon at Mount Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in 

Williamston, NC with Rev. Kenneth Hyman serving as eulogist.

Interment will immediately follow the service in Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC.
