Eva Gray (Peele) Hodges

Eva Gray Peele Hodges, age 89, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Vidant 

Medical Center in Greenville, NC. She was a member of St. John Church of Christ, (DOC) 

Church in Washington, NC, where she formally served on the Mother Board.

Her survivors include a son, Ernest Hodges of Jamesville, NC; one daughter, Marjorie

H. Roberts of Jamesville, NC; one brother, Curtis Peele of Williamston, NC; five grandchildren,

eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Her walk through viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm 

at Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC. A face covering is recommended upon entrance to the

building.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:30 am St. John Church of 

Christ (DOC) Church in Washington, NC with Pastor Russell Wilkins officiating..  Her viewing will

be held at the end of the service.

Her interment will immediately follow the service at Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC.
