James Kenneth Cherry "Billy Cherry", age 76, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Vidant

Palliative Care in Greenville, NC. He attended Belmont Baptist Church in Robersonville, NC.

His survivors include his wife Wendy S. Cherry of the home; three sons, Kenneth Cherry of Winterville, NC,

Carlos Cherry of Louisburg, NC and Renwick Cherry of Ludowici, GA; three daughters, Natasha Cherry of

Robersonville, NC, Tami Cherry of Richmond, VA and Ja'Mes Cherry of Greenville, NC; three brothers,

Melvin Cherry of Williamston, NC, Ernest Cherry of Greenville, NC and Vernest Cherry of CT; two sisters,

Linda Smith of Williamston, NC and Dalphine Goddard of Everetts, NC; numerous grandchildren and

great-grandchildren.

His walk through viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at

Manson Mortuary in Williamston, NC. A face covering is recommended upon entrance to the building.

His graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Homestead Memorial

Gardens in Greenville, NC with Pastor Robert Watts officiating.

Interment will immediately follow the service at Homestead Memorial

Gardens in Greenville, NC.
