Melvin Smith, Jr. "Man", age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in Pruitt Health-Trent in

New Bern, NC. He was a member of Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC) Church in Williamston, NC.

His survivors include his wife, Lenora R. Smith of Williamston, NC; two sisters, Sytraina Williams of Winston-Salem,

NC and Carolyn (Regina) Slate of Virginia.

His viewing will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC)

A face covering is mandatory upon entrance to the church.

His funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at Back Swamp Church of Christ (DOC)
