William James Jenkins

Williamston, NC

Mr. William J. Jenkins, "Lollipop", age 70, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019

at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.  He was a member of St. Mark 

Church of Christ (DOC) in Everetts, NC. He was an usher and a member 

of the Male Chorus.  

Survivors include his wife, Carol W. Jenkins of Williamston, NC, three sons;

Cornell Jenkins, Vidal Jenkins and Clayton Williams all of Williamston, NC, four

daughters; Michelle Dore of Boston, MA, Tammy Williams of Williamston, NC, Zephia Jones of 

Washington, DC and Kendrick "Tee" Jenkins of Williamston, NC, two brothers, 

Roosevelt Jenkins of Brooklyn, NY and Henry Jenkins of Greenville, NC, one sister,

Margaret Muhammad of Phoenix, AZ, sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Manson 

Mortuary in Williamston, NC and on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm 

at United Holy Church of Deliverance in Williamston, NC.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2:00 PM at United Holy 

Church of Deliverance in Williamston, NC with Rev. Antonio Bradley officiating.

Interment will follow in Andrews Memorial Park in Williamston, NC
